According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), younger adults’ lifestyle choices can inevitably affect their health when they age. As proof, they state that the most common cause of heart complications are obesity, insufficient physical activity, heavy drinking, and the like. These complications can therefore be prevented when individuals decide to make proper changes in their lifestyle.
“Even one preventable death is one too many. It’s really possible for us to make rapid and substantial progress in reducing these deaths,” says Dr Tom Frieden, CDC director.
