The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that 800,000 Americans die from heart disease every year. Heart disease is the #1 killer of men and women in the Unite States.
According to a new study, constantly walking will greatly reduce the risk of a heart disease and attack. Dr. Thomas Yates, of University of Leicester in England, along with other researchers concluded “that for every 2000 steps more, a person had a 10% lower risk.” In the span of an entire year, the risk fell for 8%.
The bottom line can be that aside from walking, physical activity can do a lot for your body. It will definitely decrease the risk of heart diseases, of heart attacks and strokes.
