Heart Attack Symptoms Same in Both Sexes

Findings of a new study suggest that heart attack symptoms in women are actually similar to their male counterparts. The Swiss researchers who conducted the study were from the University Hospital Basel.

The purpose of the research was to examine whether the chest pain characteristics or CPCs were sex-specific. It would help physicians to differentiate women who are having acute myocardial infarction from those with other causes of chest pains.
