Heart disease is all too common nowadays. Year after year people die from this dreaded disease. It has plagued my family too. My mother had a heart attack at the young age of 55. Both of her brothers have undergone by-pass surgeries for plaque build-up. My Uncle Ray and I were talking one night about various health issues when I casually stated that I sure hoped I did not end up having his heart problems. He informed me quite frankly that I needed to make sure that I took better care of my heart than he had his. If I didn’t, I would find myself in the same mess he had been in.
After thinking for a while I started researching anything and everything that I could possibly find that had anything to do with heart health. I started reading every medical journal, magazine, and literature that I could find that talked about the heart. Of course, I read all about the importance of eating right, weight management, and exercising. But I wanted more. So I kept researching and that is when I found the results of the research of Dr, Linus Pauling and Dr. Matthias Rath. What they had discovered was simply incredible and life saving!
People whose bodies do not receive the proper nutrients will not be able to produce a substance called collagen that is necessary to repair the lesions in the artery wall. Without the presence of collagen, the body will do whatever it can to prevent the artery from leaking. So it grabs particles it finds floating in the blood stream and forms a make shift patch to place over the lesion. After a while, these patches get thicker and thicker producing what we know as plaque build-up. A person whose body always receives the right amount of nutrients will be able to reduce the accumulation of plaque build-up and sometimes eliminate it altogether.
Oftentimes people will think they are getting the proper nutrients because their diet consists of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. However, many of these people end up getting heart disease even though they do their best to eat healthy. This is because the use of modern pesticides, fertilizers, and herbicides on fruits and vegetables actually prevent the produce from having adequate nutrients. Dr. Pauling’s research showed that heart disease can be controlled by the administration of certain nutrients and a specific time and at proper levels.
