According to a study conducted by British researchers, people who are exposed to airplane noise may be at risk of developing cardiovascular diseases.
The study involved 3.6 million people who lived near London’s Heathrow airport, one of the busiest airports in the world. People who lived in zip codes with 10 decibel higher levels of noise coming from aircrafts had 3.5% higher rate of hospitalization because of heart disease. Heart experts weren’t surprised by the findings at all.
