Exercise is just as good and effective as drugs used in the treatment of diseases like heart failure and strokes.

According to the researchers from three leading institutions, exercise is a good alternative to drug therapy in the prevention of death caused by coronary heart disease, heart failure, diabetes, and stroke.

According to the authors, there’s a blind spot in the knowledge about the benefits of exercise. However, health charities and the NHS said that though exercise has a crucial role in improving one’s health, people who are taking medication for any condition should continue taking the drugs prescribed by their doctor.
