The French Healthy Lifestyle Alliance suggests solutions to fight cardiovascular diseases and obesity. The group was established by the International Chair on Cardiometabolic Risk (ICCR). The group brings French doctors, economists, and politicians who agree on the importance of exercise.
According to a 2012 study cited by Martine Duclos, a university professor and also a member of the alliance, lack of activity is the leading cause of death in the world and that physical activity should be a part of children’s education.
Patients who get plenty of exercises reduce their risk of suffering from cardiovascular diseases by 30%.
